If your employer hasn’t specifically asked for a CPCS course, it is advisable to do the 2 hours Traffic Banksman course as you will be getting a certificate and a photo ID card. These will allow you to work as a Traffic Banksman anywhere in the UK.
In order to do a Traffic Marshal qualification for a construction site job, you will need a valid CSCS Green Card.
To be eligible for the CSCS Green Labourer's Card, workers must complete the Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (L1HSCE).
If you do not have a CSCS Green Card, you can apply for the one-day L1HSCE course.
